Thanks to everyone who came out for HPTA’s HPTA’s 35th Anniversary.
We were thrilled to have several of our charter members join us. We are very thankful for the Baton Rouge Recreation and Parks Commission (BREC), and Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden for proclamations they issued, commending HPTA for 35 great years and declaring Oct. 15, 2011, as “Eleanor Owens Day.”
Special thanks to HPTA members Sandra Harshbarger for the beautiful anniversary cake and to Josh Hebert, owner of Bearfoot Arts catering, for the delicious jambalaya lunch.
Here are some pictures from the day.
